Fees

The firm is not franchised with Legal Services Commission to receive public funding or to qualify for any legal aid grant. Therefore we are unable to assist clients on legal aid matters unfortunately in family law and immigration law. However should any individual wish to instruct the firm for any work then our professional fee needs to be paid privately by the individual.

We will ask clients to provide payment on account before we undertake any substantive work on their case. This positively ensures that we have been instructed by clients who are serious in obtaining legal representation to meet their needs and at the same time, it also helps us in keeping the cost apparent from the outset.

We offer fixed fee in almost all of our legal representations. A fixed sum is agreed as our professional fees at initial instructions stage. You can either settle it as a single payment or enter into a flexible mode of payment if single payment is not possible. But we would require all payments to be completed before any appeals or applications to be lodged and for any courts appearance for litigation matters.

We reserve our rights to stop acting or to withdraw our legal representation from courts records or notify the Home Office or Immigration and Asylum Chambers’ to that effect, if you fail to make payments promptly upon issuing our invoice. We also reserve our right not to accept you as our client until you have completed our formal procedures of instructions and make a payment towards the agreed fees.

Disbursements

Our usual disbursements would be in addition to our fixed fees which include:-

1) Payments of court fees, home office fees, translation of documents, interpreter’s fees incurred in dealing with your matter;

3) Courier charges and Special / Recorded Delivery Charges;
