What type of applications can be considered on the Same Day Visa Service/ Premium Day Service?

There are basically two categories of applications that would be accepted on Same Day Visa Service / Premium Day Service by the Home Office. They are Non- Biometrics Applications and Biometric Applications. In the Biometrics Applications on the Same Day Service or Premium Day Service it would include both the Points Based System Applications and the Non-Points Based System Applications.

What type of visa is eligible on the Same Day Visa Service / Premium Day Service?

 

( 1) Applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain or ILR from the following categories:
  • Work Permit holder
  • Highly Skilled Migrant
  • Highly Skilled Migrant under the terms of the HSMP indefinite leave to remain judicial review policy document
  • Self Employed Lawyer
  • Writer, Composer/ Artist
  • Tier 1 (General) Migrant
  • Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Migrant
  • Tier 1 (Investor) Migrant
  • Tier 2 Migrant
  • UK Ancestry
 (2) Applications for an extension of stay in the UK in the following categories:-
  • General Visitor
  • Overseas qualified nurse/ midwife
  • Private servant in a diplomatic household
  • Dependants of exempt HM Forces
(3) Applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK as the partner of a person present and settled in the UK
  • Spouse / Civil Partner of a person present and settled in the UK
  • Unmarried / same sex partner of a person present and settled in the UK
  • Bereaved partner
 4) Application for Indefinite Leave Stamp to be fixed on a new passport if you were previously granted ILR stamp on your old passport

Our Same Day Visa Service / Premium Day Service would include:

  • Our Immigration Solicitors will submit the application personally at the Home Office;
  • Our Immigration Solicitors will collect your Immigration Visa personally from the Home Office.

How to book for the Same Day Visa Service/ Premium Day Service?

You must provide the following information:

  • Full names of the Applicant, and any dependants, as the names appear on their passports
  • Dates of Birth of Applicant and any dependants
  • Nationality of Applicant and all dependants
  • Mobile Telephone number of the main applicant
  • Gender
  • Full address
  • For Tier 1(General) PBS – you have to state whether previous earnings to be shown is from employed/ self employed basis

Clients are encouraged to pay Home Office fees by means of Postal Order or Bankers Draft, as this will reduce waiting times at the cash office. However the Home Office do accept credit or debit card payments.

When must you contact for a Same Day Visa Service / Premium Day Service?

 The Same Day Visa Service / Premium Day Service is very popular and highly in demand. The slots at the Home Office will be fully booked and therefore to ensure a slot would be allocated by the Home Office, clients are encouraged to contact us three to four weeks in advance from you proposed submission date.

We are authorised PEO representatives by the Home Office to submit applications on Same Day Visa service/ Premium Day Service. The Home Office will normally accept bookings from PEO reps on every Monday mornings at 9.00am.

Example:

If we need a slot in week commencing 3rd October 2011 then we will have to request for a slot on Monday 19th September 2011 at 9.00am (two weeks in advance).

We advise all our clients to contact us a lot earlier than that so we can advise you on the Immigration Rules, supporting evidences and allow time for preparation work. Most importantly to secure a slot before your visa expires.

Please do not wait until last minute or when you are approaching your visa expiry date to request for a Same Day Visa Service / Premium Day Service.

However sometimes we have managed to get a slot for clients on short period of notice but it depends entirely upon the Home Office allocating a slot to us when they have any cancellation. However this approach is not good and we will not encourage clients to wait till the last minute. It is your visa application and you must be responsible in planning well ahead to secure a Same Day Visa Service Slot / Premium Day Service Slot.

 Frequently asked questions:

(1) Can you guarantee a slot?

No we cannot guarantee a slot will be allocated. It would depend upon the demand and availability at Home Office on that particular week. It is also beyond our powers and control as the slots are allocated by the Home Office. If any adviser provides you a guarantee then they are not being honest as the slot booking rules are the same for every PEO representatives. Everyone PEO Representatives will have to send their request at 9am every Monday for a slot two weeks in advance.

(2) Do I need to come to Home Office to submit the application?

You do not need to come to the Home Office to submit the application as that would be the responsible of the Immigration Lawyer assigned to your case for the day. However you need to be present with your dependants to provide your Biometric Evidence at Croydon.

(3) Will I get my visa on the same day?

Normally it would be the case. But now the Home Office is requesting the PEO Representatives to come back the next day afternoon for collection.

(4) Will I get my Biometric Residence Permit on the same day?

No. Your Biometric Residence Permit and your dependants will be forwarded by post to our office within 10 working days by the Home Office.

(5) What if you do not receive the Biometric Residence Permit after 10 working days?

Our Immigration Lawyers will chase it up with the Home Office on your behalf.

(6) Can I travel abroad?

You should not travel until you get your Biometric Residence Permit
